2009 Centenary year
May 28th 2009 marks the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the present church building, dedicated to St Paul at Marton, and 2010 marks the 250th anniversary since the first Anglican service was held in Marton. We therefore are having a year of celebrations. We would like to hear from past members of St Paul's, and anyone who has had any connection with the parish, maybe through parents or grandparents etc. We would love to see you and for you to join us at any event during the year.
We are having a special souvenir calendar made with all the dates of events. We hope this calendar will be ready for sale by Easter. It will run from the end of May 2009 until the end of June 2010.
If you would like to know more or would like to order a calendar please ring Pauline Wilson (nee Taberner) on 01253 767863 or send a letter to Mrs P. Wilson, 3, St. Vincent Ave, Blackpool, FY1 6RT. Please send a s.a.e. for reply.
